Connor has a deep connection with music. To continue learning the art of music and production, he applied and was accepted to Berklee college of music for their masters program in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation. This program unique for its location in Valencia, Spain where Connor immerse himself in the culture, food, and language. Connor explored all avenues of music production including recording, music video production, projection mapping, sound synthesis, sound design, and all industry standard software programs. Connor graduated from Berklee College of Music July of 2019.
Currently, Connor teaches Music Technology and Songwriting at Las Positas College and Chabot College in the California Bay Area.
Connor drew on his experiences in teaching to design, curate, and produce a live streaming music production channel under the pseudonym Cojemo_ for YouTube and Twitch. This channel is dedicated to live, interactive teaching over the web for music production and recording technology topics.
Prior to obtaining his masters degree, Connor taught Introduction to Music Technology and developed a new course entitled Musical Elements at University of the Pacific. Connor developed a passion for music education and a belief that he needed to give back to the music community that had given him so many opportunities. He developed a ukulele program for students ages 8-12 as well as group and individual piano lessons.
Connor’s creativity in arranging was recognized in 2016 by the Sacramento Philharmonic. The orchestra reached out to commission him to arrange a piece to be performed during halftime of the first home game of the NBA’s Sacramento Kings regular season in their new “Golden 1 Center” arena.
